Norwood Performing Arts presents Footloose Friday, March 19 and Saturday, March 20 @ 7:30PM in the Middle School Auditorium.
Relive the eighties as big haired, denim-clad teenagers fight for their right to dance. Featured songs include eighties favorites Let’s Hear it For the Boy, Holding Out for a Hero, and Almost Paradise.
Tickets can be purchased at the door for $7.00.

Mrs. Martin, Williams Elementary, wanted to share the great news that she has been accepted into HCESC’s Munich Exchange Teaching Program from March 27th- April 9th.
Gaye Irmak, a teacher from Munich, Germany will be living with her and accompanying Mrs. Martin in her classroom. In exchange, she will travel to Munich from June 12th-26th to teach in a German classroom.

Norwood Kindergarten Registration
Each Elementary will be hosting a Parent Meeting prior to Kindergarten Registration. Information about the kindergarten year will be provided. The registration packet will be available at the Parent Meeting. To enroll a child in Kindergarten for 2010-2011, parents should go to their neighborhood school on the dates listed below.

From Jill Martin - Williams Elementary
I wanted to share an incredibly engaging lesson that Mr. Joe Waked taught to my class to reinforce our science unit on sound. Mr. Waked played woodwind, percussion, brass and string instruments for my second graders, demonstrating the various sounds and pitches these different instruments produce.

From Ms. Hadaway - Norwood HS Science Teacher
The Christ School of Nursing came to my Anatomy and Physiology classes to teach students how to take blood pressure. The two instructors are Ms. Crenshaw and Ms. Gordon. It was really great! They were also able to advise students who were interested in nursing school.
